With introduction of Office 365 groups - which are very nice as starting point - please consider to provide an migration path / integration in Teamsite (OnPrem and SharePoint Online)
7 votesWhile our integration with Microsoft Teams and Groups in the SharePoint Migration tool is not fully complete. You Should be able to point the tool to Any existing Teams or Group connected team site to migrate content into it. I would love to understand more what are the specific parts you would like to see in the tool

Local Storage Path
One of the base requirements for the migration tool is 150G of available space or an SSD. Many of the organizations we support have relatively small C drives though plenty of storage on other attached storage. The migration tool seems to error out if the C drive has < 150G of available space. Please allow the admin performing the migration to specify where the migration tool can obtain it required space.
1 votesorry for the delayed response here. i would like to know if you tried changing the working folder setting on the migration tool.

Dedicated Azure Storage ID should be part of each tenant. Not a free ID that is shared.
Dedicated Azure Storage ID should be part of each tenant. Not a free ID that is shared. We never know how long a large blob storage migration is going to take.

As part of the Migration API offering we currently provide temporary container specifically for migration use.
