Add Yammer to an existing SharePoint Online
We are using the SharePoint Online created by Teams and all other cool Apps like Planner, Flow and One Note. However, in order to use also Yammer we currently need to create a new Yammer group (that creates a new SharePoint and so on).
It would be great if from one O365 Group you could manage ALL apps, regardless where this group was created from. This would enable us to manage our SharePoint integration with Yammer seamlessly.

You mostly get the same Office 365 components (Office 365 Group, Team Site, Planner, OneNote Notebook, Stream) when you create a Team Site from SharePoint, a team in Teams, a group from Yammer or a group from Outlook, but that "mostly" is what is confusing and harmful. You ONLY get the Yammer group if you create the team site from Yammer. It would make more sense if you got all the same components and could choose to disable visibility or use of the externally visible components you don't want to use (to reduce noise, no value in people seeing your Yammer group if you are not using it). Then, if requirements change in 2 months or 6 months, all you have to do is enable/disable a component. If we create a team in Teams and later decide we want a Yammer group, do we create a new group in Yammer and move everything? That would be way too painful, so we will probably create a Yammer group and ignore all the components except the Yammer group and we'll have to manage membership in two places.
