Allow admins to see all hybrid search properties
Currently, custom properties from an on-prem farm, like site columns in a site, are only visible to the search service account in O365. Global admins, SharePoint admins, cannot see these properties and cannot access them until they are added to managed properties.

make the calendar overlay easily customizable...ie see description
Please make the calendar overlay more customizable. At this time, if I overlay multiple calendars and see that I don't like the order in which the events appear on the main calendar, I have to delete all the existing overlaid calendars and start over completely. For any group like the ones I work with where there might be 4 calendars and 2 items on each calendar for any given day, deleting and starting over is not an option, so I have to go in and make sure that everyone knows "Please be sure to look at all items in a…

SharePoint Migration Batches just like Exchange Migration Batches
Exchange Online provides an Online interface, in the Exchange Admin Center, to run, manage and track mailbox migrations. In it you define endpoints and upload (CSV) migration batches. The status of these batches, which run unattended, is then viewable from the Exchange Admin Center no matter from where you are. This is vastly superior to the way the SharePoint Migration Tool currently works, as installed on a desktop client.
With regards to defining a SharePoint Migration endpoint on-premises, from the SharePoint Admin Center, please consider the Azure AD Application Proxy scenario, where you can download a black-box installer which you…

Please make Migration Manager API publicly available
Currently, there is no option to programmatically control migrations with the Migration Manager.
For large file share migrations we would like to implement a user interface that allows some controls by the end user.
An API or some sort of scripting possibilites would be great.
Actually the API is already there _api/MigrationCenterServices
Please make this endpoint publicly available.

Provide support for content enrichment in cloud hybrid search
Can we please get support for on-prem content enrichment as part of the Cloud Hybrid Search service?
Otherwise we're stuck with Federated search, which is far from optimal in terms of user experience.11 votes -

10 votesWe are working on adding this support in the current V3 release. Alto it is not ready yet, once V3 hits General availability this should be included in the scope of pages migration.

Add estimated time remaining to Migration Tool
For the most part the migration tool is good and easy to use, however, if possible it would be great to have the estimated time remaining displayed on the app just to give an idea of how long it will take

Possibility to successfully add the new Site Page content type to a custom Wiki or Document library and improve functionality.
I love the layout of the new Site Page content type, with end-user friendly editing options, super easy and intuitive document and video embedding options and easier than ever picture inserting. It is perfect solution for when end-users (even not power users) have to author wiki pages in a SharePoint site. When inserting a picture, you do not need to choose in which library it will be uploaded and you don't have to fill any meta-data. The same with attaching documents. Even more - Office documents get automatically embedded in the page. Now you can have some text and embedded…

Bring document connector back to Office 2016 for Mac
I am trying to get my company to use SharePoint instead of DropBox and Google drive. I am able to map a drive letter to a SharePoint Document folder on a Windows computer. I can't do this on our Macs. We have many Macs running Office 2016. The Document Connector that was in the previous version of office has been removed. Can you please bring this program back, or give me a way to connect to the document folder on SharePoint.

Add Yammer to an existing SharePoint Online
We are using the SharePoint Online created by Teams and all other cool Apps like Planner, Flow and One Note. However, in order to use also Yammer we currently need to create a new Yammer group (that creates a new SharePoint and so on).
It would be great if from one O365 Group you could manage ALL apps, regardless where this group was created from. This would enable us to manage our SharePoint integration with Yammer seamlessly.

Open Source the SharePoint Migration Tool
You will get some interesting features from the community. Also stop SharePoint customers from paying tons of money for migrations

PowerShell support is now available for SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT). Customers should be able to leverage PowerShell cmdlets to extend migration activities in their own custom migration logic.

Please continue to provide feedback and post new uservoice ideas

Create new and updated protocol documentation
Having solid documentation allows for detailed understand and self troubleshooting.
The protocol documents that were done for SharePoint 2010 should be repeated for SharePoint 2016.

SharePoint Migration Tool: Edit settings in "saved migration sessions"
After you run a migration and you saved it, you can only run an incremental migration or delete the session. It would be great to edit the migration settings or maybe also add or remove a task from the review migration.

Share Point (2019) On-Premise & Share Point Office 365 - Synchronization
Being able to host an on-premise Share Point Server (2019), that synchronizes real time bidirectionally with Office 365 Share Point. (To Improve Performance / Business continuity)
Also, it would need to have the options of cloning the sites and other pages from Share Point Office 365 to the on-premise Share Point Server (2019). With offering as much full functionality as possible.

Automatic renaming of illegal files and folders in SPMT
Many of the 3rd party tools offer features to automatically replace illegal characters in file names and/or remapping illegal folder names such as 'Forms' at the root level for OD4B. It would be nice if SPMT also had such features.

SharePoint migration tool and Teams
When migrating from server file shares in to SharePoint Online using the SharePoint migration tool, currently you can only choose the root folder of a document library and not the libraries belonging to ,for example, Teams channels. This means that you have to migrate in the folders and files and then use a separate method (SharePoint move or move in File Explore after a sync) to move these to respective Teams channel libraries.
Please develop the tool so that you can select Teams channels libraries/document sites as the destination and not just the root library.
7 votesWhile our integration with Microsoft Teams and Groups in the SharePoint Migration tool is not fully complete. You Should be able to point the tool to Any existing Teams or Group connected team site to migrate content into it. We understand this is not optimal but for the moment you can use the CSV/JSON approach to point it to folder mapping to different teams channels.

I want the profile picture displayed in SharePoint Online contents to mirror the availability status of the user.
As is, the profile picture displayed in SharePoint Online contents to mirrors the availability status of the user with a mark, but does not connect with Skype for Business or Exchange Online.
I would like for you to change this, so that SharePoint Online contents also gets interlinked with the availability status of Skype for Business and / or Exchange Online.7 votes -
