Enable Folder Upload capability on Office365 SharePoint
It would be extremely helpful if I could upload folders and all content within onto the documents section of a SharePoint site. Does not seem to make sense that only documents can be uploaded, and that I have to create the folder names from scratch on Office365 SharePoint before uploading documents into those folders. It makes it difficult to make the switch from an older version of SharePoint to Office365 SharePoint, which seems counterintuitive and rather frustrating since the whole purpose of Office365 is to make such tasks simpler.

File Search
A file search on every folder screen would be extremely helpful. Especially considering you've added virtual scrolling when the folder contains several files; it can be a little tedious if the file is at the bottom and you have to wait on virtual scrolling to load more than once.

Email Enabled Libraries
Email enabled list for SharePoint Online, this was a great feature for direct interaction with sharepoint via mail, although site mail box is a similar concept, would love to see email enabled lists in 0365.

Search folder options
Bring back folder options for search.
Previously, in search, you could go directly to a folder that had the file you were looking for.
Now, you can only open the file in the screen.

Multiple files Check In/Check Out with new look
With the new SharePoint document libraries "New look", I can not do the multiple check Out/check in. It would be nice to have that option handy.

Only display "Shared with external users" when it is actually shared
The new modern library view always says "Shared with external users" even if the permissions are internal use only - it's picking up the site collection global settings. This new message is generating lots of support calls and concern from our users who think their private libraries are suddenly accessible externally. It should only say this if either the library or a document within is actually shared with a non-Office 365 native user

SharePoint Online Calendar, the “All Day Event” in Quick View is locked
Unlock the "All Day Event" field in Quick View so entries can quickly be updated. We have multiple "Time Off Calendars" for various departments. We workload groups move, data is copied from one calendar to another but the "All Day Event" data does not copy over. If the "All Day Event" is not selected the Weekly Calendar view displays multiple vertical lines instead of names. To correct, each individual entry must be opened, the "all day event" selected and saved. This is very time consuming (typically 100+ entries) but necessary for the weekly calendar to display accurate date.

In document library search
I am missing the "In document library search" which was availlable in the classic experience of the document library.

Direct link to document
Give the ability to retrieve a direct link to a file like was shown in the callout. If you want to use a html/txt file as source in a Content Editor webpart, you have to manually type the url because the generated links using Get a Link won't work.

No Search Bars
This new view does not have the search bars. We have spent a lot of time teaching our staff to use the search bars. (There used to be two: one to search for files within current folder and one to search the entire site.) Please give them back!!!

Missing ribbon menu, missing functions
Where's the menu (ribbon) in the new look? Without menu there're many IMPORTANT functions missing.
Please find a way to put back full functions. Otherwise the SharePoint is NOT USABLE in a real business environment.

Download Multiples
'Copy To' feature should allow user to select and save multiples to desktop or any computer location. Why can I only download one at a time, but I can upload multiples? It should allow drag/drop of multiples either direction, especially since Open with Explorer option is no longer available.

Customize SharePoint Email Alert Templates
Allow the site collection admins to customize the template for the standard SharePoint alerts. The current email alerts are confusing, provide too much information to the user and are out-of-date style-wise.
Allow the admins to add common fields, i.e. "Title", "Created By", and include an image and hyperlinks. Also allow adding a CSS style sheet.

Hide Collaborators
Our users would like to share the same Folder/Document with customers, but do not want the customers to know each other. Box.com has a feature, “Hide Collaborators” to support this use case. We would like to request a similar feature in SharePoint Online.
