  1. Add customization possibility to the new SharePoint Home page

Based on the new feature being now rolled out at large: https://blogs.office.com/2016/05/04/sharepoint-the-mobile-and-intelligent-intranet/

The new SharePoint Home page (landing page) is cool and we really appreciate the new look and feel.

The only issue is that we can not customize that Home page and place the different items based on our priority!
Based on what we have now:

    Links
    Followed Sites
    Recents
    Suggested

It would be very interesting if we could place the LINKS on the right followed by the Followed sites!

Then we would have the Recents and Suggested sites on the left menu.

Basically being able to move parts…

    • Better navigation between mysite and collaboration site

Today there is no natural way of going back to a team site from MySite. Make the integration more smoothly and natural.

      • "Modern" Libraries Should Respect Navigation Settings

When in the "modern" pages, we see an entirely different set of navigation options in the top nav than when we are in "classic" SharePoint. These pages should all respect the same navigation settings.

        • Hide Site Contents Access Links

Allow Site admin's to control whether or not the "Site Contents" is displayed in the settings gear or in the navigation side bar.

We do not want everyone to have access to the site contents page.

          • Integrate a full breadcrumb in the Suite bar to facilitate navigation in deep collections

In the top left (in the suite bar), integrate a breadcrumb (like in SharePoint 2010 with the hierarchical folder?) in order to facilitate the navigation in site collections.
Users are sometime lost when they are browsing a document library and when the ribbon is displayed in the header, they have difficulties to find that they must click the "BROWSE" tab to go back to the navigation.

            • Bring back the Promoted Sites/Icon capability.

This was a great way to highlight the major site collections and steer users toward the data they typically access. It makes for a migration from a previous version easier on the end user as well.

              • Enable configurable switch to disable "Recent" in SharePoint quicklaunch navigation

mplement some sort of configurable switch to be able to disable the auto injected navigation node "Recent".

This "Recent"-navigation node - disaperance is on several customers wishlist for their own products based/developed on the SharePoint platform.

                • Bring back tree interface for managed metadata navigation and filtering in "modern" new document library experience.

In the classic document library experience, you can have a tree interface for navigating metadata tags, filtering the items shown in the library, as described here: https://tinyurl.com/lvltljh

Currently, tree navigation is only available in the classic experience, not new, as explained here: https://tinyurl.com/m6knsj9

In my company, the tree navigation of metadata tags has been crucial for user adoption, weaning them off of the nested folder structure they were used to in file shares, by having an equivalent nested set of metadata tags (not folders).

I am hopeful this functionality can be added to the new document library experience so that…

                  • Add the function of hiding user's information through the Delve screen.

When searching for a person via [People Search], I can easily confirm the detailed information of user's, however, which behavior is not preferable from the security policy even users are the internal person of the organization.

So that I hope the function will be implemented to allow hiding user's information on the Delve screen.

                    • Page Level Breadcrumb

Please enable a breadcrumb for navigating pages on SharePoint. Even if its just for Modern Pages... or Communication Sites.

                      Scenario:
We have our intranet on our main site collection (consisting of 6 sub-sites exc. the root site) and one of the biggest problems I come across from end users is that they dont know where they are.  They clicked a link from the homepage or from a news article, its taken them to the page they wanted to go to... but they have no idea where that is.

The problem this causes is the user cannot find a way…

                      • Improve Performance of Structured Navigation in SharePoint Online

One of our clients recently notified us that its SharePoint Online site was extremely slow. This was odd considering that none of our other customers were experiencing the same behavior. After some investigation, research, and a ticket with Microsoft, we learned that SharePoint Online's structured navigation feature was the gremlin in the engine. Related to this, here are some important articles to read.

                        • Fix breadcrumb Navigation in Central Administration

The breadcrumb navigation is broken in several places in central administration and it has been for years. It makes it a hassle administering some service applications / functions.

When navigating to the user profile service application there is no way to go "back" to the start page of the UPS. I find myself very often having to go back to the service applications overview and start the user profile service application via the regular link again. The search service application always has the menu on the left side, making it easy to switch between e.g. search schema and content sources…

                          • Enable nested menu items in left-hand (Current) navigation

Why not be able to nest links in the Current navigation? Making a link a sub-link of another (e.g., via ">> Demote" and "<< Promote" buttons) would enable the nesting and create a pop-out menu when hovering over the left navigation item. This could work similarly to putting links inside a folder in the Global Nav, which creates a dropdown menu. If nothing is nested, the menu acts the same way as it does currently.

                                • Make Sharepoint User Friendly

It would be nice if the look and feel of share point was more windows based and user friendly. Its very archaic and challenging to navigate. A search engine inside of the program to pull information would be helpful. I have a lot of sales reps and customer service people who have rudimentary computer skills who continually are unable to use functionally and as a result I am unable to communicate information effectively.

                                  • Ribbon and task-based features

Keep that Ribbon bar (Files, Library), and move the Folders/View to the right of those, put the Global Search there, and most other changes in that same row. All my clients know to go to the Ribbon for the non-basic features, and my current client was complaining to me without the Ribbon..
                                    - Some redundancy with features on the “new task-based” ribbon is fine. Fewer clicks and more obvious action buttons are more important than cleanliness.
                                    - Like Office and Windows toolbars, add an option to Show text for icons, or customize it.
                                    - The Folders/View dropdown wont get used…

                                    • Modern Team Site - Update navigation via scripting or api

When I create a group, a modern team site is provisioned. Great. The left navigation is created using a new "modern" navigation structure, i.e. not structured or managed, or at least stored in a way that I cannot edit via Site Settings, rather I have to update the navigation inline, on the page, in the browser. Yet when I update the navigation via the inline experience, a payload is created and sent to an undocumented endpoint, _api/navigation/SaveMenuState. Please provide a documented and supported api endpoint so that we may safely update navigation in a scripted manner.

                                        • Regarding the notification upon SharePoint Online failure

In case of failure within SharePoint 365 admin center, but I can' realize them at the time of those occurrence.
So, Could you please develop and introduce the system that enables a prompt and active notification as RSS feature performs that kinds of behavior?
