  1. Add option to hide the "List" web part if there's no data

    Currently there is no option to hide the "List" web part if there is no data, similar to the setting "Hide this web part if there's nothing to show" that is available in the highlighted content web part.

    Example:


    1. We have a list of "alerts/messages" that should be displayed on home page, when it satisfies a filter condition like "show on home page == true".


    2. We created a new view on this list with view formatting and custom row layout to display the alerts.

  2. A web part to show and handle my approvals

    I would like to have a web part that shows my approvals so the user doesn't need to navigate to flows.microsoft.com and log in to see them or handle them. That interface is confusing for users and could be much simpler for this task.

  3. Please add a borderless table option.

    Please add a borderless table option to the table menu so we can organize inforamation in columns without a visible grid. I've tried creating content in Word with a borderless table, but when I copy and paste it into SharePoint a black line border is applied. Thank you.

  6. Add PDF as document type to the new Document webpart on Modern Pages

    Only Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio are supported document types for viewing in the new Document webpart on Modern Pages.

    PDF is a widely used way to share documents that are closed for editing and it would be great to show these as well.

  7. share from highlighted content web part

    Under the Document Library web part you're able to show the command bar so users can highlight a file and share a file from there, however you can't filter the documents to show only documents tagged with a certain Enterprise Keyword.

    The Highlighted content web part is great for it's clean view but users aren't able to share the documents from it to other users.

    It would be good to get the sharing feature added to the view

  8. Enable Site Users webpart on Modern Pages

    The Site Users webpart is extremely beneficial on Classic Wiki pages in providing a transparent view into who has access to a site and what permission level they have. However, there is no way to easily display this same information on a Modern site page. While the people webpart exists, there is no way to make a connection with existing permission groups on the site. Having the option to link the Modern People webpart to People and Groups users would be fantastic.

  9. allow SharePoint calendar app synchronization to OWA

    We would like to have the functionality to sync the SharePoint calendar app to OWA. Currently SharePoint calendar app syncs only to the Outlook desktop application vice versa.

    Can we please have the ability to select subsites lists/libraries in appropriate web parts such as highlighted content, document library, list? This was a commonly used feature in the classic experience

  11. Enable modern list view webparts to be connected with dynamic data

    The Modern list viiew webparts should be able to be connected using dynamic data. If i have 2 listviews on a page , say orders and orderitems, i shoudld be able to filter the orderitems view based on the order the user selected in the first view.

    Also I should be able to filter the list view based on a query string parameter.

  12. Events webpart needs 'Add to Calendar' count view

    Love the event webpart. If I need to track attendance I add a short Form to collect that information but it would be nice as an admin (or even everyone) to be able to see a count that tallies each time 'Add to Calendar' is clicked. We aren't a huge company but at 1000 people, having a general idea of how many are attending is important for a variety of reasons - not the least of which at the moment are Skype count restrictions.

  13. Show pictures on event web part

    Show the picture embedded in the event page on the event web part preview cards on the home page. Would also be nice to be able to assign colours to the event to allow for theming - e.g., meetings blue, social events green, etc. The current display results in a lot of white space on the page as the event cards are white on a white background.

  14. Display and edit custom Events list columns when adding a new event from within the Events webpart.

    I use a Lookup column in my Events list to pull in data about the facility affected by an event. When I add items to the Events list through the classic interface, I can select those facilities in my lookup field. However, when I add an event from the Modern Events webpart, those fields are not displayed.

    The Events webpart should be able to display custom columns from the Events list it draws data from.

  15. Don't show gray background color behind Quick Links images in compact view

    Until the latest update to the Quick Links modern web part (early September 2018) that added several new view options, there was no background color behind the image when using the compact view. Previously it was possible to use a transparent PNG image (e.g. for round icon images), but now there is a gray background color behind the image which ruins the effect of the transparency.

    This seems to be a side-effect of the new option to use Fabric UI icons. Can you either remove the gray background color if an icon is not being used, or add another option…

  16. Enable the Power BI Web Part for Classic and Team Sites

    The Power BI web part is only available for modern pages for some reason. Our enterprise uses classic. Would like the web part to be enabled for classic and team sites.

    We can't use the Embed code, as we are not allowed to publish to web, which seems to be a requirement for that. So web part is our best option. Seems illogical to only allow this for modern.

  18. List and Library Web Parts on Modern Pages

    Feedback: Experiencing major issues with List and Library Web Parts on Modern Pages. Only the Default view pulls through, not the selected view. Even if the view is recreated and a new web part is added on the page, it still goes back to the default view on the list / library. Please fix URGENT.

  19. Highlighted Content - Events need 'sort by event date'

    We have a hub site that pulls in news and events from several other sites. The News works really well, but the Events don't.


    1. We need to sort the events by Event Date and only show upcoming events. Currently we can only sort by the date the event was added to the site and this is irrelevant.


    2. Images added as event headers should show in the webpart cards, like the News does. (I've already upvoted someone else's suggestion for this).

  20. Weather WebPart Date Format

    Within the Weather WebPart, I can choose the city, and change the title - BUT - the date is still wrong - showing in US. Date Format.

    Can we have the option to include DD-MM-YYYY - rather than American MM-DD-YYYY ?
