    Dear SharePoint-Team, it would be great, if we could improve the versioning function of SharePoint. There are two roles of interest: authors & viewers. If I publish the major version 2.0, the viewers can see it. If I publish the minor version 2.1 only authors can see this minor version 2.1. The viewers will see only the major versions, in our example 2.0. If I countermand the major version 2.0, the authors will see the latest minor version and the viewers will see no document any more at all.   2. Enable "sip:" and "tel:" links in editor

    When creating Links with the Standard SPO Site Editor, it woud be great to have ther more posibilities for Links like "sip:" or "tel:". without that t is hard to document communiation Stuff in SPO.

  3. To provide features to restrict certain updates to modern pages created from a page template

    Like classic SharePoint publishing pages, it would be good to include possibility to restrict updates to the section layout and web part properties of a modern page created from a page templates.

    The need is to allow lock down of advanced editing features like add / remove sections, add / remove web parts, change placement of web parts on such modern pages and help mimic features of the classic publishing layout.

    The business case driving this change is to bring uniformity to page content created from specific page templates.

  4. Ordering news articles that are audience targeted

    When publishing news articles and audience targeting them, if we specify a news order slot, it overrides the audience targeting and the article appears for everyone. Can the news order respect the audience targeting so that we have control over the appearance in that scenario?

  5. Allow SharePoint to Accept Requests from Teams (either directly or via CDN)

    In certain cases, content posted in SharePoint can't be used 'programmatically' (e.g. via a Bot) inside Microsoft Teams. It would be great if an internal asset, posted on SPO, could be used in this way by Teams in the same tenant. One option could be to allow the use of public CDN content, but to my knowledge, the SharePoint Online CDN only accepts messages (via referrer) from SharePoint Online itself.

  6. Publishing site URL cannot be edit

    We want to change publishing site URL, now only team site and communication site URL is editable, it is very inconvenient when using other type of sites like publishing site.

  7. Newsdigest curated for All sites

    Have the option/ability to curate a news digest with options to select news articles from more than one site. Since news posts cannot be shared between sites, and news articles out of necessity must be duplicated from scratch or made into a template (not sure if this even works!) there is a need then that articles from one site may need to be highlighted to a different audience without replicating the news articles.

  9. O365 Word Read-Only + comments or annotation

    Using Word as a collaborative software, I would like to see more options allowed to the read-only mode as we rely on that restricted mode to display the document in a more steady view (accessibility layout for instance which is great) while expecting some of our stakeholders to comment and annotate the document for final revision.

  10. Enable pinning of news posts without requiring editor access to the page

    At the moment, only a page designer can control the 'organize' settings for a News webpart which allows for the pinning of news posts. To allow users with 'Contribute' access (who are able to publish a news post but not edit the page/webpart) to pin a news post to the top of the feed at the point of posting news rather than relying on the page designer/editor.

  11. Support for Publishing features in Modern UI

    Since end of November the Auto detect doesn't failover lists that have Publishing HTML columns or Publishing Image to classic UI. Until November we could have a list with Publishing HTML/IMage columns set to Modern UI as long as we didn't show the columns in the list view and when we wanted to edit a list object the Classic edit for was opened but after November it doesn't failover anymore and a modern edit form is opened where these columns are not visible so we have to switch the list to classic view instead.

  12. Edit Sharepoint Page transversal for all languages

    When i perform a change on my internal Sharepoint page, if it is in Portuguese, when i change the language to EN or GER or IT, i can't see the change performed. Can you help, please?

  17. Limit notifications to Sharepoint sites only if you subscribed

    We are building a communication site and every-time we post a news story everyone we work with and our managers are getting alerts in Sharepoint. This is so wrong. Users should only get alerts based on what they are have "Followed" in Sharepoint. Unnecessary people and Exec Presidents are getting phone alerts for something they don't follow or monitor. Please fix this ASAP

  18. Assign users different permission to post news depending on the news content

    I would like to set the news type and assign specific users who can post them depending on the news type when posting news in SPO.
    For example, we create two news types, announcement and notification, and assign User A a permission to post the announcement news and User B to post the notification.

  19. Add more obvious indicator that modern page is not published

    In classic SharePoint, draft pages had a yellow bar at the top, making it obvious the page hadn't been published. Need something like this on modern pages, as it's too easy to miss when a page hasn't been published.

    Bug Report. Inconsistent application of version number while publishing.

    If you have a Pages library with Major and Minor drafts enabled and approval content required then:

    If you use the publish option on the ribbon when you are done editing the page the Version number listed in the All Pages view is updated to the next major version number and goes to Pending state waiting for approval then someone approves it and the version number remains unchanged.
