    If the content of a classic site discussion board is moved to a modern site using Excel, the list’s comment functions cannot be used.
    Please make it possible to use this function even after having imported content from a discussion board.

  3. Prevent Mass Deletion

    Mass deletion of synced libraries should not be as straight forward as it is today. At the moment, if a user with contributor permissions deleted a large number of files, they will only get an email afterwards informing them that the files are available in the recycle bin to be restored.

    Say the document library had 30K files which are now in the recycle bin, restoring those would take a lot of time.

  4. map network drive

    Drive mapping - again!
    Users are too wedded to mapped drives and will not work with SharePoint libraries through the browser. Many third-party applications just expect drive letters and don't work with web locations.
    With IE support being dropped, we also lose the ability to authenticate to SharePoint and establish the WebDAV connection.
    We see people mapping network drives anyway, then their session expires after a couple of weeks and we get support tickets to help them fix their drives AGAIN. Taking this away will cause carnage.

  5. Support custom property in Excel for the web

    With SharePoint list and Excel association, I’m using PowerAutomate to update columns and custom property to change value in the cell automatically. However, the change won’t reflected in Excel for the web. I would like Excel for the web to support custom property and reflect value.

  7. Sandboxed iframe display of .msg files opened in SharePoint issues

    When an Outlook email (.msg) file is saved to the Document Libraries and you open it to view within SharePoint, it is displayed within iframes. These iframes are sandboxed, meaning that many of the links within the email do not work as certain functionality is removed and so when clicked on script errors continue and nothing loads. Even if the links are set to open in a new window, the tab opens and remains white for anything internal to the SharePoint site, but work if they are external links.

  8. Allow formatting column headers in list view using JSON formatting

    The JSON formatting feature of list views is great. I use it very often and many client like the new looks formatted using JSON.

    However there is no way to format the column headers in list view using JSON.

    Please allow formatting column headers in list view using JSON formatting as this is much needed feature.

  9. Organization chart web part needs a method to filter out Functional Mailboxes (FMB)

    Throughout our organizational hierarchy, there are FMBs assigned to managers which we do not want to display in the Organization chart. Please consider adding methods to filter these out of the view. As it stands, people do not want to use it because it's a bad UI.

    Each user can configure notifications freely for document libraries and custom lists.
    Please add a way for admins to migrate or copy these settings all at once for each user to another site’s document library or custom list.

  11. SPO Access Control Policies - Remove dependency between Global & Site level policies for unmanaged devices

    Currently in SharePoint Online we can configure the Global access control policy in the SPO Admin Center for full access, limited (web-only) access, or to block access. This setting applies to all SPO sites in the tenant.

    There is also a site level conditional access policy parameter that can be set on each SPO site. For example:

    -ConditionalAccessPolicy AllowFullAccess
    -ConditionalAccessPolicy AllowLimitedAccess

  12. Option to make Hub navigation sticky

    New feature for collapsing the menu when scrolling hides the Hub navigation. This should be a toggled option to hide on scroll. We are using the hub navigation as a central navigation element and now it disappears when you scroll down.

  15. Add the possibility to select ''Title is Different from...'' in the filter options of the News Web part

    Adding the possibility to select the option: The title is different from ... in the News Web part, combined with another specific metadata filter, would allow us to show similar articles, without having to show the article they just read.

    Example : when publishing the economical Article #6, applying the option: The title is different from Article #6, and adding a metadata filter option to show all the economical articles...

    The News Web part would show all the economical articles excluding the Article #6 which the user had just read.

  16. Coloured Tasks in SharePoint List Calendar View

    There is no control over the colour of entries in a SharePoint List Calendar View. It would be great if you could use conditional formatting to change the colours of entries, or link the colours to those used in a choice menu within the list.

    Use Case:
    SharePoint list that tracks team members whereabouts. Sharepoint list has leave start and end, and a choice column for location that is colour coded, such as green for in the office, and red for working from home. When in calendar view, all entries are the same colour, it would be good to see…

  17. Drag and drop *TO* Outlook email message as attachments

    There are many posts here about dragging from Outlook to SharePoint. However, if you need to attach multiple files to send via email to external recipients (links are not an option, though dragging and dropping as links would also be useful in other scenarios), this can be really cumbersome with a large doc library, partly because you cannot select and then act on multiple items, except to download them as a .zip file, which are invariably blocked or stripped by AV software. It's a multistep process today at best.

    リストの表示に併せてテキストを構成して運用していましたが、UI の変更に伴いそれらの表示が崩れて表示されるようになってしまいました。
    影響も大きいことから、標準機能として表示を選択できるよう機能拡充の早急な対応を希望します。

  19. new Oct 2020 organization chart web part needs an option to not display disabled users

    Currently in the new Org chart web part you can choose the person it starts with and the number of levels above. However disabled users are included in the rendered chart. Please filter these out or allow an option to do so.
