It would be helpful to have sections that collapse, tabs, or anchor links for pages that contain lots of information. Word allows you to create bookmarks, and OneNote allows you to create tabs to easily navigate lots of information on a given topic. It would be great if you had the same flexibility with a page in SharePoint949 votes
We’ve shipped anchors on pages for all text web part headings (H1, H2, H3). Simply hover over a heading on a modern page and you’ll see the link symbol to that anchor. Clicking on the link adds it to the end of your page URL #as-an-anchor-using-the-text-from-the-heading.
When creating links using the Wysiwig editor we should have the ability to add "tel:" links and "mailto:" links.193 votes
Sorry we neglected to let you know this is already available on modern pages in the text web part. Either type the syntax directly into the page (and on enter we should recognize it), or use ctrl/cmd + K to bring up the page picker.
I'd like to be able to resize an image directly from the modern pages image webpart. This is really annoying that the pages are so easy to create but that you can't control the image size on the page.800 votes
Rolled out to 100% of production on 3/15/20
Please remove the restriction for 50 hub sites per tenant (or at least increase it to 500 sites) as there could be many scenarios where one would need more than 50 hub sites particularly the large / multinational enterprise/organisations. For example, Project Management Office (PMO) used to create subsites for a large projects to manage different streams within a single project and would now create Office 365 Groups and I can see PMO could easily use 10 - 20 hub sites.113 votesboom! it's done · AdminSharePoint UserVoice Admin (SharePoint UserVoice Admin, Microsoft SharePoint) responded
The hub sites limit has been increased to 2,000.
We love the new hub site feature, and the roll ups for sites and highlighted content. What we really need is a roll up web part for events, so that all event calendars accross the hub can show on one webpart.
Uses for this would be to show all events, company wide, happening this week.17 votesboom! it's done · AdminSharePoint UserVoice Admin (SharePoint UserVoice Admin, Microsoft SharePoint) responded
Option to roll up events from “all sites in the hub” is now available
To improve visual accessibility, could you allow a simple way to colour the background of every other list item's row?
Including support would be needed.
My client has a legal requirement for using software, intranets that is Bi-Lingual.
Communication sites are really great way to building new Intranets quickly but this is a critical feature for adoption.539 votes

Support column formatting in list web part view.

We showed at Ignite 2018 the modern doclib and list webpart having full fidelity views, matching the same thing you’d see in the full doclib or list page. That should now be available in SharePoint Online.
If you are seeing specific customizations that aren’t working, please open a support ticket so we can track it down.
I want to be able use PowerApps to customize forms for SharePoint libraries. Currently only lists seem to be supported.91 votes
This is now available in document library forms, under the edit command (see screen shot for entry point).
The Published date on Modern Site Pages in Classic SharePoint sites is defaulting to US format (MM/DD/YYYY) although the tenant is in AU format (DD/MM/YYYY).
The date format for other content in SharePoint Classic sites is MM/DD/YYYY which is same as Regional Settings.222 votes
This should now be fixed
The modern pages are great, however there should be more flexibility such as being able to select different page layouts and would take the best from the old classic pages and incorporating with the new modern look and feel.417 votes
Page templates are now rolled out to 100% WW and you can create your own templates per site. If you have more or different needs, please open a new item and give us some specifics so we can ensure we build what you need. Thanks!
Now when it is possible to create hub sites in addition to communication sites in O365 tenants which are in targeted release mode it seems that concept is initially missing mobile navigation support for navigation provided by hub site.
When you navigate either hub site itself or any other site connected to hub the UI only offers mobile navigation for current communication site and O365 global navigation.
I really like to see ready made and responsive solution for mobile navigation in hub site level navigation also.43 votes
The SharePoint mobile app displays the hub navigation. Also when visiting sites on mobile web browsers the navigation also appears
There is too little control of a Modern Page. You can't control text size and coloring, you have limited format control, and most of all you can't edit source. I used this to drop in things like Image Maps or other HTML that there was no way to add in.196 votes
As we mentioned in the last update, we’re working on anchor linking for modern pages, and it should be available shortly. We’ll clear up the m365 Roadmap to ensure that gets added.
Text formatting is already available in the rich text editor on modern pages.
To create an image map you could use the image web part for a single link, but to make multiple links across different parts of the image, you’d need to leverage a web part designed to do that. There are partners and potentially open source web parts to create Image Maps.
If you have other suggestions (e.g. font selection), please search and vote for those, or open a new suggestion. Thank you.
Currently only links with associated URL's can be added. It would be great to be able to add headings without associated links to assist with grouping27 votes
We have added support for labels on the hub navigation.
Allow for the menu header option to be non-clickable.1 vote
Megamenu supports labels
Consistent with the classic "publishing" use case, would like the ability to add custom columns to modern site pages and make these columns editable in the page properties UI in the Site Pages document library.
An extension of this would allow editing of the page properties on the page itself, similar to custom page layouts on classic publishing pages.188 votes
You can now add custom columns on the site pages library.

Hello! Push notifications to the SP mobile app for comments and replies on modern pages and news posts is in prod.
Emails for comment and replies on pages and news posts are rolling out.
Please see this tech community post for details: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-SharePoint-Blog/April-2019-Updates-to-SharePoint-News/ba-p/481718
please add the possibility to modify the page author so e.g. the comms dept is able to add news posts from the Executives. The People Web Part is not sufficient for our business request and a general editors account is not allowed.112 votes
In the new title area, you’re able to list any author as the page/news author.
Add News Article Metadata
When adding a news article (site page) on Communication Sites, through the new interface, it would be great to be able to populate additional metadata for the page.
This could be along the lines of tagging pages with keywords for searching through articles or adding custom metadata.203 votes
We’ve enabled custom metadata on pages and news in Sites last year and forgot to mark this complete.
If you have additional asks, like the commentor asking for AND/OR control in news filtering, please search and find a suggestion to vote for, or open a new once.

Hide page title in the Modern UI sites
モダン UI のサイトにおいて、タイトルを入力しない場合でもタイトル エリアのスペースが残ってしまう。ページのタイトルを入力しない場合には、不要なスペースとなるためページのタイトル エリアを削除をできるよう機能拡充を要望します。
In the Modern UI sites, even though no title is entered, page title area still remains.
For removing this unnecessary space, in case there is no title entered, allow hiding the page title.
Thank you for your consideration.3 votes
You can choose between four title area sizes & layouts. The smallest one (plain) simply shows the title with no image on one line. Click the pencil on the left hand side of the title area to access these settings.
