Allow News Digest Emails to pull from multiple sources
The News web part can pull news posts from multiple sites, however the Digest email only appears to be able to pull from one site. It'd be great if I could create a digest that pulls from all the sources that a web part pulls from. This would allow for multiple communication sites to be used for a single email digest and would increase buy-in from our internal communications team, as well as the various departments which want to communicate within the organization.
17 votesYou can actually already do this today, but thanks for submitting this suggestion to help us update our help documentation. If you create a page, with a news web part, pulling from the sites you want to make a digest for, and then click the see all link on that news web part, you’ll be able to create a news digest, selecting posts from the various sites you configured to include.
We’ll update this help article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/create-and-send-a-news-digest-42efc3c6-605f-4a9a-85d5-1f9ff46019bf

Remove Title Area
Is that able to completely remove Page Title Area or minimize it size?
1 voteYou can choose between four title area sizes & layouts. The smallest one (plain) simply shows the title with no image on one line. Click the pencil on the left hand side of the title area to access these settings.

Allow alternate row formatting in Modern Lists
To improve visual accessibility, could you allow a simple way to colour the background of every other list item's row?

Hide page title in the Modern UI sites
*English follows Japanese
■Title(件名):
モダン UI のサイトにおいて、ページのタイトル エリアを削除できるようにしたいHide page title in the Modern UI sites
■Description(内容):
モダン UI のサイトにおいて、タイトルを入力しない場合でもタイトル エリアのスペースが残ってしまう。ページのタイトルを入力しない場合には、不要なスペースとなるためページのタイトル エリアを削除をできるよう機能拡充を要望します。In the Modern UI sites, even though no title is entered, page title area still remains.
For removing this unnecessary space, in case there is no title entered, allow hiding the page title.Thank you for your consideration.

Events Roll Up Web Part on Hub Site
We love the new hub site feature, and the roll ups for sites and highlighted content. What we really need is a roll up web part for events, so that all event calendars accross the hub can show on one webpart.
Uses for this would be to show all events, company wide, happening this week.17 votesboom! it's done ·AdminSharePoint UserVoice Admin (SharePoint UserVoice Admin, Microsoft SharePoint) responded
Option to roll up events from “all sites in the hub” is now available

Enable scheduling of posts for the News Section
In Sharepoint Communication Sites -
Allow the option to schedule posts for the News Section.
Allow the option to change the published date for posts in the News Section (e.g. if you need to back-date something).
Allow the option to change the publishing user on News posts (e.g if you're publishing something on behalf of a team member, but want their name displayed, not yours)

News and modern pages both support listing an alternate author in the author by-line field already today.

Conditional formatting system as in Excel
Conditional formatting system as in Excel
For Sharepoint to be customized easily for power users or advanced users without coding experience, JSON is a nightmare
Users should have the choice to opt for graphic (excel type) or coding system to format each column

We just rolled out a Column formatting template – “Conditional Formatting”, that allows users to create if/else/then statements.

Conditional Formatting for List fields.
For status, I have a choice field in a list. In order to have it change colors, I have to produce some ridiculous JSON. Please have a look at SmartSheet. They have a completely simple way to enable conditional formatting.

Hub site navigation size
Please make the navigation items of the Hub site navigation bigger. More in taste of the command bar for instance or the normal site navigation. It is to small at the moment and I get a lot of comments on this from clients.
Thanks in advance,

Allow creation of headings & sections without links
Currently only links with associated URL's can be added. It would be great to be able to add headings without associated links to assist with grouping

We have added support for labels on the hub navigation.

We need a new category here for Hub Sites!
Now that Hub Sites are rolling out we might as well have a category for them.

Mobile navigation support for O365 Hub Site provided navigation
Now when it is possible to create hub sites in addition to communication sites in O365 tenants which are in targeted release mode it seems that concept is initially missing mobile navigation support for navigation provided by hub site.
When you navigate either hub site itself or any other site connected to hub the UI only offers mobile navigation for current communication site and O365 global navigation.
I really like to see ready made and responsive solution for mobile navigation in hub site level navigation also.
43 votesThe SharePoint mobile app displays the hub navigation. Also when visiting sites on mobile web browsers the navigation also appears

Remove restriction for 50 hub sites (or increase it to 500 sites)
Please remove the restriction for 50 hub sites per tenant (or at least increase it to 500 sites) as there could be many scenarios where one would need more than 50 hub sites particularly the large / multinational enterprise/organisations. For example, Project Management Office (PMO) used to create subsites for a large projects to manage different streams within a single project and would now create Office 365 Groups and I can see PMO could easily use 10 - 20 hub sites.

The hub sites limit has been increased to 2,000.

Enable "tel:" and "mailto:" links in editor
When creating links using the Wysiwig editor we should have the ability to add "tel:" links and "mailto:" links.
193 votesSorry we neglected to let you know this is already available on modern pages in the text web part. Either type the syntax directly into the page (and on enter we should recognize it), or use ctrl/cmd + K to bring up the page picker.

Provide option to convert existing site to communication site
For customers who are trying to completely modernize their large SharePoint implementations, it should be possible to convert an existing site collection to use the communication site template.
It can simply be a powershell command that applies all the features/etc. it needs.
It doesn't need to change existing content, just apply the styles and create the typical landing page for a communication site.
It'll make it easier to adopt upcoming features (like adding sites to hubs, etc.)
