Allow a site owner to kick a user out of a file opened in Excel Online
If you have multiple people co-authoring in Excel Online, there are times when you need to open the file in Excel - typically for advanced formatting, etc. If someone has accidentally left the file open in their browser, there is no way to force them out and keeps the file locked. Although not always intentional, it can create a major headache by not being able to simply kick/close out that particular user from editing.

And if you have a protected sheet there's just no way to make changes while the file is left open in some background tab in user's browser.
Why not allow just kick them, it's not that they CAN lose their changes as those apply immediately.

This is a big problem when needing to administer the data that is in the files!

This also prevents me, as the site admin, from moving documents around in the library and/or renaming library folders. I'd love to give admins the option to "close all open" documents in a subfolder of a document library

This is really a problem, people leave files open all the time and I need to do advanced sorting in the desktop Excel version
