Top navigation on the new document library look
It is crucial for many of our customers that they do not get their top-menu in SharePoint removed when accessing document libraries (the new OneDrive for Business look). Please make it possible to activate this so the users are not "lost" in their own intranet.
Top (Global) navigation works in modern libraries now — but not if you’re using managed navigation. We’re working on managed navigation support now.

The top navigation in the new library view is still showing links to random pages, and I am unable to change this. Some of the pages are hidden. It is very confusing for the users. Is this going to be fixed?
For people struggling in these comments, try these old URLs:
You shouldn't have to, I know, but maybe with them you can customize what you need?
You guys don't have QA department before writing Boom...!!
BOOM, It's NOT done. Please fix this bug. The modern UI's top navigation shows all the pages (including page not found. duplicate pages), sites. The drop down (within nav) doesn't work either. There's no option to configure what appears and what doesn't. It should inherit what the global navigation is set to.

Yes, it's not done, the problem is the same as before: the top navigation is broken as described below and the left navigation doesn't show the siblings of the current site as defined and as in the classic view. This is true in the publishing sites. Has it got something to do with the Master page?
In the workspaces the modern view is fine and has been fine all the time.
It's not done. We have no control of the top navigation using structural navigation settings. The menu items include pages (even hidden pages like "page not found" and sites (we don't want to show) whether or not the settings are checked. We don't want clutter on our navigation and have absolutely no control of the items we want to show. Unfortunately, this is holding back our company from moving forward with the new document library (which we really like for all its goodness). Hoping you will update this soon.
When you state that Global Navigation is now supported in modern libraries (and modern lists?) that means it will work for Structural Navigation - as soon as the hosted instance gets the applicable software update? Are you also working on supporting Structural Navigation for Current Navigation with the modern lists/libraries?
I was told by support that there are no plans at the moment to support customizing the Local (QuickLaunch) or Global navigation with the new UI. Thus, no ETA as to if or when this will ever be fixed. Also, if you customize the styling of the Local or Global navigation that is also broken with the "new UI".
