allow us to change default name for sender field in send an email activity SPD workflow
Once we are using workflow in SharePoint Designer to send an email on a list items on SharePoint Online, it will send an email to use. There is a default sender name (which is site name) and default sender email address (which is email@example.com). we need to be able to change "default email sender name" as site name doesn't make sense for those who receive it.
I'm not sure if this will ever get implemented since I thought they stopped updating SPD?
Anyway, I agree that we should be allowed to change the sender. Due to security audit, Outlook is blocking any incoming mail to internal distribution list from external senders (firstname.lastname@example.org is flagged as external sender).

As well as "from" I see the need to control the "reply to" as well.
But even if we can't control the SMTP address we really need to be able to control the display name (to be something other than the site name) either in a workflow action setting or a site config setting.

Our company has several different site collections which use Nintex Workflow for many of our operational processes. We would like to be able to customize the send notifications to be "from:" work-appropriate email addresses instead of a generic one. Also, with our increasing demands for maintaining network security compliance, we do not wish to trigger any inquiries during any network scans/cybersecurity assessments. Finally, our SharePoint Online presence has grown to include many external customers, and when invitations go out to those individuals, the notification/invitation email gets routed to their spam folder. Thank you for your consideration in this matter! I look forward to hearing about a solution :)
