Annoying a list of "Frequent" sites that are not Frequent when the used ones are not part of the list. Users very unsatisfied

I'm trying to convince our users to move from google and asana to O365 and SharePoint, but there a dozens of annoyances like this that are making the job really tough. I'm not giving up yet, since we have a year-long contract, but I am making a list.

I will echo the remarks here and say I am embarrassed that my users have static 404 links on their home pages. So bush league.

Does anyone know if there is an ETA for this yet? I am facing the same repeated calls to purge the Frequent Sites area from deleted sites.

Incredible. Just as stupid as having a car with gas pedal and no one for the brakes...

It's BS like this that drives me crazy about MS. What's wrong with you as a company? Now I have to explain to my team that some sites just don't exist and shouldn't be clicked on - I've got deprecated sites with the same name as working sites and they show up in this stupid "frequent sites" list and I can't do anything about it.
It's unbelievable how Microsoft's culture allows for so many bugs and things that just don't work at all!

WTF is wrong with Microsoft? These posts are dating back to 2016 and this is STILL an issue??? I have so many words I'd like to say right now but my comment will probably get flagged. This is BS!

Agreed! I just want to clear this huge list of "Frequent Sites" from the initial SharePoint page that displays when accessing via Office 365. Come on, Microsoft!

This is really annoying not to be able to do this! Finally got a bunch of test sites deleted/unfollowed (and disabled the annoying automatic group feature in Sharepoint Admin and I'm still plagued by the deleted sites in frequent sites/activity! Make it go away!!!

Deleting a site is not as easy as it is to create one.
