Yes please give a choice to wrap the text! It defeats the purpose of creating views if all the content is not view-able.

We had to switch to a classic view for our header fields because classic displays headers more efficiently. Would live to have the ability to "word wrap" Header fields in lists.

Upvote! We'd like to use a list for FAQs. Column 1 = Question, Column 2=Answer. Lists make it easy to group FAQs by topic. But some of the answers and questions are long, and the text doesn't wrap.
We cheated a solution by inserting hard returns, but a programmatic solution would obviously be better.

We need to wrap the text in data fields
We have a list with many lines of text and its already rich text. I don't want normal visitors to see all columns of the table, just the contents of the large formatted text field... but each line is being truncated in the modern list view. -

It would be nice to have a feature which will wrap the text for the type of data I am recording in SharePoint. Having this basic feature of text wrap same like Excel will help a lot.

I can change the looks of the datafields when I added below JSON to the Column Formatting of the column.

We definitely need to be able to wrap the text in the List Name column or edit the HTML on the page using something like the content editor web part.

I would like to wrap the Name column. I also have a Choice column where you can select multiple values. I would like these to appear as a list like my column where you can select multiple people.
