Please let me drag Outlook attachments into SharePoint
Something I find myself wanting to do pretty frequently is storing an email attachment somewhere into SharePoint or OneDrive for Business. I want to simply drag the attachment from Outlook directly into SharePoint or OneDrive in the browser. Alas, I cannot. I am forced to save the attachment somewhere (my Desktop, most likely) then either drag+dropping it into SharePoint/OneDrive or using the upload function in SharePoint/OneDrive to get it uploaded.
It should be easier than that. Microsoft, please consider adding this functionality to get even more user-friendly integration between your suite of products.
Thank you for everyone who has been providing feedback on this thread. There is a variety of work happening to make it easier for people to save to/from OneDrive and SharePoint. There are no specifics and ETA’s to share at this point.

MS Flow has the potential to do it perhaps. http://summit7systems.com/feel-me-flow-process-automation-with-microsoft-flow/ You can add filters to the Outlook part so all attachments don't get copied over. But it does need som e tweaking.

This is indeed the OOTB behaviour. If you need additional functionality (e.g. extract email metadata, set custom metadata, ...) in the near future you 'll need to resort to 3rd party tools. See https://collab365.directory/office365-sharepoint/email-tools-for-sharepoint-and-office-365/ for a list with email tools for SharePoint.
