Wiki link functionality in modern pages
When editing text blocks in a modern web pages, I'd like to use the wiki link code [[New Page Here]] and have the same functionality, meaning that when saved I can click the "New Page Here" link and have a new page be created automatically with the original link going to the new page.

I remember seeing this at Ignite2019. Like... working. Is it in the plans? Was it developped and is in preview somewhere? Is there a rollout schedule for it? Is there even a name for this feature?

Iin the plans already for 1.5 year?
Wiki is still using the classic looks. Really need proper Wiki functionality. It's a pitty that we have to use other tools for the wiki.. -

Yes please. I want to use all Modern Pages in our SharePoint Site if possible and this feature is missed. Will accept alternative methods to quickly create links for future pages. Linkage is everything in a Wiki. An app called "Wiki Link" would work just fine.

Agree on this. Other must have functionality is that the wiki pages in the site link to wikis in Teams.

It would also be great if this was not only possible for the creation of new pages but also for the linking of already existing pages.
