Allow list web parts on modern pages
Modern pages allow the addition of news, links, activity, etc., but there is no option to display list view web parts. We use lists constantly and rely on list view web parts. Specifically, I would like to continue using the very cool "Promoted Links" list in new sites and use the standard web part for that list. The tiles have been very popular for key navigation elements for a site, and I don't want to lose that when moving to modern pages/sites.

We’ve just starting rolling this out to First Release customers now

It is 2018 July and I still do not have the ability to add certain lists to modern pages!

When inserting into a modern page, using the list view webpart, it doesn't allow any direct editing. User have to know to push the "See All" link. It seems like too many clicks for users.

This is great, but in using this webpart I'm finding that the text is not being wrapped on multi-line columns. It would be really useful if the webpart rendering of the List reflected the way the List is displayed natively

I have a office 365 developer account and I dont see this option in my modern site. Is there some additional action I must take?

Completely agree! This has been my primary frustration in trying to promote the modern experience to end users.

Agreed. In an application like SharePoint, for which data and document management is so fundamental, I find it difficult to understand the thinking behind removing the ability to display that content in the new-look pages.

Agree. All of our team sites frequently have a calender or daily planner on the main page to show people's whereabouts. Why would you take away list parts from being added???

Yes! Agreed! This would solve my issue as well!

Agreed. Why are lists and libraries (2 of the cornerstones of SharePoint) so difficult to add with the new pages?
