Modern pages, lists and libraries look great and all fit together nicely.
The other main thing we use here is the calendars which are still looking classic, which means inconsistencies in the quick links layout as well as other things which viewing a calendar.
I can't find anything about when Calendars are going to be modernized.
Thank you for submitting this suggestion and voting on it. We have two events/calendar solutions in modern pages today. The events web part has card based event tiles, powered by events lists. You can roll-up events from multiple sites into one page, but there isn’t currently a wall calendar view.
Alternatively you can select to leverage a group calendar, and pull all of your events (including recurring events) from Exchange. This too is a compact card based view.
While we understand a wall calendar view is desirable, we’re not working on it at this time.
I agree. We heavily depend on this feature currently on our classic SharePoint sites (especially the consolidated feature - which encorporates task-lists as well)) which acts as dashboards on many department sites! Currently blocking for the transistion of these to both SPonline and SP2019!
No modern design for the calendar in SP2019.
The group/Exchange calendar in modern has one main purpose but is not customizable like a SharePoint calendar, which is what our users want. They add their own metadata so they can organize their information, use color coding to differentiate events, and display the monthly calendar view on their site (not having to switch over to Outlook). This has held many of our site owners back from switching to modern. For those using SharePoint as an intranet, or for committee collaboration, a full, customized calendar view on the homepage is needed.

i dont even care about modernizing the calendar just make the page adhere to the modern frame

this should be converted to fit the modern site. It's a little ridiculous that it does not.
glad I found your posting. I cannot believe that the calendar pages are classic mode. They do not take customization we made in the application customizer. This is so frustrating

I think this is something very basic, need to have it

The events Modern web part does look, but it is very lacking. I would love to have an ETA on monthly views.

wth , no List calendars on modern experience?
are you serious ?
I would like the ability to display a calendar that shows the whole month and allows usuers to click on events to see more details. If there was a way of adding multiple calanders to the page that would be great. Especially if we were able to link our outlook calendars to the page.

I can't believe this doesn't have more votes! The events web part on modern pages is really nice, but the lack of a monthly calendar is a real problem for heaps of my users. We are currently having to disable the modern look on all lists and libraries and not use any modern pages purely because the calendar format is so important, and we want a consistent experience throughout the whole intranet.

I agree, I love the modernization of SharePoint, but the classic calendar web parts are terrible. They look awful whether it is displayed on a page or trying to print.
