Make rename in Teams reflect name changes in Sharepoint?
When I rename a folder in the Teams app, the underlying folder is not renamed in sharepoint. This is most confusing.

Quick update on this suggestion. We are still working on this with MS Teams. We don’t have an ETA to share still.

How does a product go live with this design? This is beyond confusing to keep track of and needs to be fixed ASAP.

Please prioritize to fix this issue. After renaming a channel in Teams, the linked SharePoint folder name no longer corresponds to the channel name, which makes it difficult to keep documents organized. I have found no way to rename the folder name manually without breaking the channel-to-folder connection and this issue is extremely annoying.

Please think as Office 365 as one solution and not only by product. This ist very hard to understand for our users and should be changed soon!

This really is one of the most difficult problems for users with MS Teams.
Perfect solution would not allow users to rename first level folders, nor add folders or files manually on the first level of the document library of a team-connected library. For the connected library, first level folders should be bound to MS Teams. If a different type of library is needed, a new library can be added.

Teams is a great team user interface for managing projects on Sharepoint platform. Please make the integration as seamless as possible.

We created a channel in Teams, tried to rename. DIdn't rename the folder. Tried to delete the channel and recreated. The name is "used" and now we can't create the channel with that name. Ok, so we created a new channel and deleted the old team folder in Sharepoint. Teams recreates that folder, confusing the users.
Big mess. Just from a simple rename. Please, please, please correct this issue.

As we are adopting teams, it's integration with SharePoint seemed to be best thing that Microsoft has done... I think fixing this and making the experience seem less will benefit both the products. Teams should be considered as a Parent. Renaming there should rename the underling Folder for the "Files" tab which is located in SharePoint.
