Enable Audience targeting on modern page web parts
It would be great to be able to target content by Audience (using global audiences and SharePoint groups) on the modern web parts just like we were able on the classic pages. Thanks
We’re rolled out audience targeting on pages and news posts, and allow targeting content in the news and highlighted content web parts. You can also soon target links in quick links (see the product roadmap for dates).
If you have specific web parts you’d like to see add audience targeting capabilities, please create an individual request for each part.

Huge limit at the moment. Please do it fast.
Quicklinks would be great with audience targetting

Definitely need audience targeting on quick links and menu links.
Ability to be able to audience target any web part or page sections would be great too.
All navigation. Quick Links, Hub, Top Links. No links should be displayed to users who do not have access to the content.
any update on this it's been in the pipelines since 2017 - surely it can't take that long?
For Quick links (the whole webpart or item by item), sections, text, ... also please!

List View and Quick Links web parts would be great. And in the government tenant too (like a year later?) :)

It's important to have audience targeting enabled *for the web part itself*, not just the content within it. Related post:
We often show/hide whole web parts based on the audience targeting features in Classic. Microsoft has stated it wants to bring most Classic features into Modern to reduce barriers to migration, please make this one of them!

Definitely need Audience Targeting for Quick Links but I also like the suggestion in the comments to create Audience Targeting for layout Sections - then you could put any web part in that you wanted targeted.
Quick Links need to be Audience Targetted for specific users/group.

Please stop working on Hololens / Spaces and deliver audience targeting to all web parts.
Start with quick links or with section level targeting.
I would love to see audience targeting on Quick Links. We custom built this on prem, so that different audiences could easily go to their "top tasks" when they loaded the startpage. Now it's really a drawback (I think only 3rd party tools like Valo fulfill these needs - but better to have it done by Microsoft)
I understand there may be a lot of complexity with implementing audience targeting on each and every web part. How about being able to create sections with audience targeting? I'd have no problem creating different sections with different content for different audiences. This would also allow the page to have a different format/look based on audience. For instance. My Creative Department would probably enjoy a more 'artisitic' yout where as my Finance Department would want something more 'traditional'.

Audience Targeting on library and and list views on modern pages would be helpful.

I would like to see the ability to use a SharePoint group instead of an O365 group (that is what the original request stated). When will we be able to use a SP group for this?
I would like to see this capability for quick links also. I have combinations of links that i want to display to only certain groups of people.
Any update from the Devs, any plan to release it out on roadmap
