Save email attachments to SharePoint Document Library
I'm sure this is the biggest gap for majority of corporate users. Saving email attachments to a document library. There is no direct option within Outlook 2016 or Outlook on the Web to save an email attachment to a SharePoint Document Library. an option exists for OneDrive a Groups but not SharePoint.
Our users are going through the painful process of either saving to their desktop then uploading to their SharePoint document libraries or save to OneDrive and perform a copy to a team site.
Yes you can Sync document libraries, but some users have access to many. You simply cannot sync every library. Plus how about users who are using Outlook on the Web? They need to download then re-upload.
Please provide functionality to save email attachments to a SharePoint Document Library

Yes we can drag and drop attachment from Outlook for desktop to synced sharepoint site or directly to a browser.
Yes we can "load" attachment to a group from Outlook for desktop.
What about Outlook on the web ? We have to upload to OneDrive attachement folder and then to move it on the SP Site.
On both last case, we have then to move again to the subfolder we want. This is not a solution.

File Save As... as a 'solution' doesn't really cut it (for example, how that does work for PDFs?) - and as noted below, MS have half-done the job for OneDrive. This is simply a gaping hole and needs filling.

This would be a great feature. However, from a MS perspective, they have solved this in 2 ways. First, if you are connected to a group/team then you can save directly to the default doc library for that group/team. Secondly, you could open the file and choose "save as" This will allow you to select from various sites that you frequent. After you select the site, you will see a list of all the doc libraries to which you have write access. From there you can save the attachment to any doc library you wish.

Hi
There's a similar post on the Office365 forum (https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/264636-general/suggestions/18496045-save-an-attachment-from-outlook-online-to-a-sharep) and this, along with attaching documents from SharePoint to emails, is a big issue for us.
It's been implemented for OneDrive and the newer groups, but for 'Sites' it only shows recent sites - not the ability to select a specific site.
Please let us know if this is coming...
thanks
Angus
