Allow sites to be associated with multiple Hub Sites
As soon as I saw Hub Sites announced, I thought of the possibilities of creating customized portals for each of our internal groups. However, as I read the documentation, I saw the limitation that a site can only be associated with one Hub Site and that nixed the idea. Each group has its own info, but also there are sites where shared info resides. I saw Hub Sites as an opportunity to bring the shared information and the specific group info into a custom portal for each group. Please reconsider the limitation. If the goal of Hub Sites is to break down group silos, it only partially accomplishes that.

This would solve our issue we could then have separate staff and student hubs and be able to link sites that are relevant to both groups to both hubs

This is absolutely key for hubsites to be workable for large complex corporations. There are always going to be cross-functional areas which need to be included in more than one place.

After 2 years of using hub sites, this request is more relevant than ever. Matrix environments require content to be findable by project and by function. Need to connect team site to at least 2 hubs.

A use case here would be where there is an HR site in one business unit and the HR site is connected to the business unit hub, but at the same time the business unit HR site should be connected to the global HR hub.

As SPO administrator, some pages would be associated multiple hub sites. or associated each parts to SPO hub sites.
This function is really required in my company!! -

Totally agree with this suggestion. I see hub sites as the information center for a matrix of team sites, which would require pulling content from a team site into multiple hubs.

We also have shared sites such as policies, report portals, etc that would benefit from joining multiple hubs. Without this, we are unable to realize the hub sites full potential.
