Reduce the lost space
On the modern site, there is a lot of lost space on the right. It's annoying for large lists. The column are too smalls.
And some times we don't see a lot of text for some columns.
Regards.

You can easily solve that by creating an extension and inject this CSS style:
.CanvasZone{max-width: 100% !important;}
[data-automation-id="CanvasLayout"] > div > div{max-width: 100% !important;}This made my customers happy again...

Looking at F12 there's a max-width put on, for no good reason. I want my Highlighted Content web part to take all space to the right of QuickLaunch, yet there's max-width of 1268px

i know right ? how can that horrible design error made it to the finals... is like "ohh we have a whitespace to the right for no reason" and MS people was like "ooh just leave it there and later asks for the users what they want to place there.

@Microsoft This is so frustrating, it is mindblowing. New page experience blocks 20% of the real estate with white space. Imagine you purchased a monitor with 20% of it you cant use. How it is was possible that it is OK to have no full-screen experience in the portal software? Sharepoint IS a portal!
