Please Add a Full Calendar Web Part for the Modern Pages that optionally includes the overlay selection feature, date picker, and toggle between day, week and month. I am not sure why this has not been addressed. Maybe pause on the Bing Maps integration that is rarely used, and work on the regular stuff that has been around for years and is used frequently.

Absolutely needed to have the full calendar, like in the classic site. Does not make sense to have the events webpart only in the modern page. We really need the calendar. We will not move to modern experience as ling this is missing.
I fully agree! Its nice to have this platform, but I do not see any changes or helpful comments on the missing parts that, for whatever reason, have not been migrated.
DO we get a timeline or an outlook if something will happen here?

this isn't very modern if M$ have not thought about the actual useful web parts and web apps that have been heavily used on the classic experience and not migrated to the modern.

I agree as well, I'm looking forward to something being added sometime in the future. We need a full calendar on our a pages.

Hi there, looking forward for an update

Hi there, any news?
Agreed - why is such a simple, obvious function not yet added to SharePoint?
Karen Poquette commented
Agreed - we use communication sites exclusively on our intranet and users are constantly asking why they can't have full calendar display on a page with overlays. Please expedite adding this web part.

Not having a full calendar view web part and not having a modern task timeline web part also limits my company in our modern sites adoption because people find these web parts very useful and it's what they want to see displayed in many cases on sites.
The absence of a full calendar on our sharepoint home site is impeding our transition to Office 365. The main reason anyone in our office would go to sharepoint and see all of our updates is the calendar.

Surprising this isn't sufficiently solved, by now. Thanks for prioritising this. Calendars are core feature of SharePoint in our organisation.
Greatly. Reducing. My. Company's. SharePoint. Adoption.
A calendar webpart that doesn't look like a calendar: Wow. Just wow.
The classic UI for calendars is a CORE function for many of our site. I can't modernize classic sites with out it. And, people asking for new sites are immediately frustrated by not having this functionality. This gap is greatly reducing new SharePoint adoption in our organization.
As has been said, there is a LOT of need for this view, which is apparent if you add up the votes from various related suggestions/requests.
We really need a calendar view. The events view in Modern UI just does not fit all uses and embedding the old calendar view as an iframe is very unreliable, subject to breaking and not usable by all users across platforms or with different accessibility needs.
There are a number of other posts requesting this:
- office 365 group calendar web part view
- enable the "Calendar View" available along with "Recurrence" and - calendar app to be displayed in the...
- Month view for calendar on the page
- Events web part
Please add your vote to these too if this is something you want. (Thanks to @Beth Hall for this list.)
Hopefully this will be considered as a feature soon as it seems to be something that a lot of users really need. Thank you.

I agree! I have built a new modern experience for all my teams except one because one of their main focus is the calendar month view and see what reunions are coming to plan their work.
My client is asking for this. They are quite frustrated by "Events"
We are waiting patiently for a calendar web-part to be available on the modern SharePoint, so that we can set-up an away today calendar. We don't require a calendar spun from a team site, but a calendar that can be added to the main hub-site as a webpart, so that a department can have insight into who is going to be away from the office. The classic version has this option, but it was done away with in the modern version. So, as a fix for now we are imbedding a classic page into the modern site, so that we can use the old calendar functionality. However, what is going to happen when the classic page at some point will no longer be available. Please bring the CALENDAR WEBPART to modern!
Yes please really this this on the "modern Pages"
