Modern Document Libraries: Add back the option to limit number of documents to show at a time
"Modern Document Libraries: Add back the option to limit number of documents to show at a time"
I worked with MS 365 Support and it was discovered that there are significant performance issues in "Modern" Document Libraries when loading 50 or more documents at a time when using Internet Explorer (Edge and Chrome work great). My suggestion is to add back the option to only show a limited amount of documents at a time before going to the next page. Right now Modern document libraries loads all the documents without the option to limit them.

@ Microsoft, are you considering this for development?

When you create/modify a view and configure the Item Limit (Use an item limit to limit the amount of data that is returned to users of this view. You can either make this an absolute limit, or allow users to view all the items in the document library in batches of the specified size.) this work only if the Library is in Classic. If you switch to the modern experience that configuration is not applied anymore. It would be good to have this fixed as soon as possible.
