Being able to hide the card of the person who is working on the content is an absolute must -- I cannot use this web part because of it. I work for a very large organization and touch hundreds of pieces of content a day that I don't "own," but I'm the web manager so I have to maintain/fix things for hundreds of other people. I can't have my name displaying on so many things! Not being able to remove the name makes this web part absolutely useless.

The HCWP should read the columns on the content type and offer them in slots, like CQWP did. Each card can have a limited set of slots in a specific configuration, but let us switch out what value goes into each. Currently HCWP isn't ready for prime time if we were to move our content to it.

This should work like the News Feed web part to allow people to choose what fields to display on the card.

Agree! Or, at the very least - for pages and news items - display the name of the person who has been set as the owner of the page. This is useful for e.g. communications teams posting pages/news articles on behalf of someone else.
