Connect SharePoint Online Lists with Outlook for Mac
SharePoint Online lists (e.g., the task app, the contacts app, etc.) cannot sync with Outlook for Mac. They should. There are solid reasons for businesses and governments to use Apple hardware and OS with Office 365 and SharePoint Online, but the functionality to include SPO lists in Outlook is only for Windows and not for the Mac OS Outlook client. Please change!
You do not need to be a huge government or business to want this. We, a small advertising agency with a whole bunch of Macs need this as well. Fast because we are currently furious.

This is unfortunate that this is still an issue at the end of 2020. If Microsoft is providing a product for use on a Mac, it should provide the ability of integration with other applications. there should also be a way to connect a SharePoint Calendar to Outlook on Mac.

For a true cloud tool, you need to integrate for all OS you support.

I totally agree!
This should be possible at least with a workaround.

Why isn't this already a feature? Businesses have both Windows and Mac users who utilize O365 and its SharePoint application.
