Make Column formatting real easy and not with JSon
Column formatting in SharePoint online.
Why so complicated that you have to use Json.
It doesn't fit in with the idea of modern pages and modern UI.
Should be as simple as selecting a format....

We have released a bunch of new templates for both column and view formatting. That should now be available in SharePoint Online.
If you are seeing specific customization that aren’t working, please open a support ticket so we can track it down.

I dont get this one either, they use DAX in everything else, Powerapps, PowerBI, Excel etc, why not use that in SharePoint? Furthermore some guy in a shed has managed to do this:
