Where is Quick Edit in modern document libraries?
Am I spooked, or has the Quick Edit functionality dissapeared from modern document libraries?

Looks like Quick Edit for Document libraries is available in Modern Team Sites but not in Modern communication sites.
Even though it is not available in Modern Team sites, you can create a new custom datasheet view and you will get the quick edit option.

Create a custom column on your Document library , then Quick Edit will comeback :)

Also, i cant find the automatically quick edit view on the modern views

I've also noticed that the Quick Edit button isn't always there on Custom Lists. It seems like there are many different causes, for me it was the "Style" setting. When the Style was left on Default, the Quick Edit button showed. When I changed the Style to 'Shaded" the Quick Edit button disappeared. Changing the Style back to 'Default' allowed the Quick Edit button to reappear.
