Copy - Move files : allow Site search
The copy or move function in modern document libraries is not usable if there are many site collections or libraries. we should have a search allowing us to select quickly a site (such as the Sharepoint Search returning sites) and a Library

Alternatively, the following option is required:
Open two separate websites with two libraries.
Then use the mouse to move / copy the content from one page to the other.
Like two file explorers. (Or Total Commander or Norton Commander) -

I would like to also have a search field on library level, means to search not only for Teamsites and Libraries but also for folders within the target library!!

I agree. The problem is that the number of sites you may need to move/copy files to can exceed the number of sites listed in the Following section and the recent section. This makes it extremely inconvenient for anyone that has to shuffle files around.
My suggestion is to add a search box so I can just quickly find the site I want to move to.

Extremely frustrating user experience and so easy to resolve.

This is an extreme pain point for organizations that do not have large or dedicated SharePoint teams. Working for a larger org this wasn't a problem as we could get IT to do it (I'm sure they relied on PowerShell or other scripting). I ask that Microsoft considers the non-IT users and smaller orgs that can't push these type of tasks to IT. With over 400 sites in our org it's near impossible for me to move/copy across sites.

It took me 30 minutes to finally get to my destination library as I had to go through 100s of O365, Teams, and SharePoint sites & libraries. VERY FRUSTRATING! And, frustrating to my users. I want to recommend the "move to" instead of other methods so that the metadata carried over - but can't while the computer tries to "guess" where I want to put the files.

I agree completely with this one. There should be a quick search or at least the possibility to filter or paste in a URL. We have been following Microsoft best-practice recommendations and keeping every site as a top-level site collection with hubs and so there are now a lot of individual sites to search through. Thank you.

With a very large network and file structure, my company's teams daily move and access files across many sites. Not being able to immediately find the destination site greatly affects our productivity.
A search bar in the "Copy/Move To" Panel would be a very valuable detail to enhance user experience. A small tool that will save a load of time.

The following/recent site list don't show all the site that I'm following or have access to. It's a very frustrating experience.

Or allow for pasting/entering a site url

I strongly agree. Followed / frequent sites is not enough. Same UX should be available when saving a file or for copy / move

Yes! The easier it is for people in my organization to find what they're looking for the better!

It is absolutely brutal to move files between sites if there are thousands of sites. Please, please implement a search function for sites and/or libraries when choosing a destination. My users are in open rebellion.

This is very important as impossible to use if not in your active/recent list, we have 1000's of potential destinations,
