Please provide option to customize email templates
Please provide option to customize email templates used to send notifications out of SharePoint online like "Send by Email" feature on modern UI pages, sharing notifications to other users. Most organizations do not allow users to install mobile apps. Providing information that is not approved will confuse the users and require constant training.

Thank you for this suggestion. We have definitely heard the feedback. While we don’t have any plans at this time to enable custom email templates this is something we’ll think about as we move forward and prioritize items for our future roadmap. Thank you.

Is it possible to include our Corp Logo to the exiting template as we can with Teams? Even that would be an enhancement.

For our organization, email customization is a must have feature. I raise the topic up.

Sharepoint items have several data elements plus multiple meta data elements. When you send any mail, one should prioritize the provided information in a way, that enables the receiver to cancel the mental processing of the mail as soon as possible if it is irrelevant. Anything else is to be considered unwanted inefficient communication.
This requirement is the major guideline how you layout content (from important to unimportant in general cases). From use case to use case there is another order of importance. There are several examples in the other comment posts.
In our case, if one shares a news post by mail and you watch at it in Outlook, you see two times the name of the author and sender, but no single letter of the actual content. In our culture, this stops adoption because it looks narcistic.
Dear MS, your initial templates are great. You made a great guess for the average world wide case that the developer did not know upfront. But organisations are different and even applications inside organizations are different. And that's why it should be possible to override the mail templates.

This is a must-have for combating phishing.

Adding a customizable email would help drive user adoption. Instead of formatting an email as well as posting it, they can just post and "Send by email" but right now it's not in an acceptable format.

Even as simple as just a header and footer image would help.

This feature would be great to have in an environment that is trying to create a newsletter of the weeks happenings

Since we get infiltrated with FAKE "click here to access" emails, being able to add our company logo or customize the message becomes more critical.
Now, we have to send out emails PRIOR letting our customers know we are sending a CANNED email and to follow the instructions to go to their new site.

still needed! We don't want to be promoting the mobile app as we would have to end up supporting personal devices when they had issues with it.

If we had the option to apply custom branding to the news digest email template, then we could use SharePoint (and SharePoint news) as a news letter for the organisation. Most companies will not use a marketing / communication tool that has MS branding all over it. If we could change these images to our own company logos then I could see this being really useful. In our company, a 3rd party email CRM system is being chosen over our established SharePoint intranet because of the inability to customise these emails...

I recently started using Modern pages on our online SharePoint site and finding out the email templates cannot be customized was a big disappointment. I hope this feature is added soon! Thank you.

This is a basic and essential future. If Microsoft don't want us to customize SharePoint they Should provide us an easy way to Brand these emails in a supported way.
When we work in a Multi Tenant Scenario its hard to follow invites and emails that lack basic branding.
I wish the Microsoft O365 Product team pays some Serious attention here. -

Unless we can add our company branding to the email digests, or send by email in modern, using this feature for corporate communications is a non-starter and we still need to use our current 3rd party tools. Please add this functionality! The way the emails look now it appears as if Microsoft sent these and not our companies communications team.

Avoiding phishing should be enough reason for getting this feature. It could be done same way EMAIL ENCRYPTION templates are done.
