Anchor Links or Collapsing Sections
It would be helpful to have sections that collapse, tabs, or anchor links for pages that contain lots of information. Word allows you to create bookmarks, and OneNote allows you to create tabs to easily navigate lots of information on a given topic. It would be great if you had the same flexibility with a page in SharePoint

We’ve shipped anchors on pages for all text web part headings (H1, H2, H3). Simply hover over a heading on a modern page and you’ll see the link symbol to that anchor. Clicking on the link adds it to the end of your page URL #as-an-anchor-using-the-text-from-the-heading.

I add my vote that enabling bookmarks in SharePoint should be a high priority!

I believe it should be the same as every other Office Product, we all learn to use the suit of products as a whole, they should all work the same. To be honest, I can not believe it was not included in the upgrade.

what is the status of this very important feature! it's been months; certainly such a simple feature, which was previously possible with previous SharePoint Classic pages, could have been completed by now!!!

Is this still scheduled for July? We're creating a basic FAQ section and this would be perfect

Can we get an idea of when this will be released? I don't see it on the Microsoft product roadmap.

It is absolutely unfathomable that Sharepoint can create a product that loses such a basic and integral feature as anchor points, bookmarks. Clearly their product does not get the release scrutiny it should. Must be nice to work for uncoordinated lax customers
