Fix/Allow calendar overlays across site collections in SharePoint Online
After migrating from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online, it appears that Calendar overlays across site collections is no longer available. Please make it available again.

The current implementation of the "Calendar Overlay" feature is completely useless, given Microsoft's "every site is a site collection" way of thinking in Office365. What good does this feature even do if you can't pull across site collections?

This feature would be very great within a Hub environment, connecting all the different site calendars under one master overlay. It's disappointing that the resolve site option no longer works.

Please implement this functionality!! I'm tired of making excuses for the loss of functionality now that we have moved from On-Prem to SharePoint Online.

Really? This feature should have been there out of the box!

My organization has 5 divisions. I want to setup an individual calendar for each division, but combine them into a single view. If I put the calendar on each division page, I can't merge them. If I put them all on a single page, then each divisional page can't host its own calendar. This doesn't seem to align with the ability to share data across a single tenant.

In the past the calendar from my SharePoint was linked to a calendar from another SharePoint (only view of my Organisation have access to it due to confidential information, except dates of the calendar). This reduced my workload enormous because I did not have to copy all dates manual to my calendar. And even worth, control changes of dates every day! Hence I ask MS to enable this function to link calendars again for SharePoint 365. Thanks

Please fix this! If you're going to encourage us to use separate site collections instead of subsites, you have to give us this functionality!

We are a 50k people organisation, and having to look for workarounds for our intranet for this missing feature is just ridiculous.
At least in a Hub-Site scenario, we absolutely expect this to be enabled ASAP.

Seriously? We can show news and documents in hubs, but not calendars? This also makes us want to use the legacy Site Collection and build a flat Intranet instead of using Modern with hubs.

Another Calendar feature ignored in SharePoint Online...

Come on Team sharepoint, please sort this out. It is causing us and many of our clients issues and has made many of them choose Google Docs over 365, as it does allow this and is also not limited to 10!

This should absolutely work across Hub Sites, as they are the modern replacement for the site-subsite structure.
