check-in / check-out button should be more visible
The ability to check in and check out a document is hidden behind an ellipsis (...) icon in the navigation bar at the top of the library. Without checking in a document, my teammates can't see the document - so this functionality is very important and should be more obvious.
May be a bit more explanation. Idea is to have CheckIn and Version history in the command bar of page you're editing. CheckIn button is important so you can enter comments to the version. Version History is also hidden in SitePages. It would be nice to see the previous version from the page itself.

I think users push their complaints to their IT colleagues, rather than directly to the provider. In the online email client, we can see a feedback button for users to communicate back to Microsoft, but we don't see this in SharePoint sites. So, I imagine, users are unaware of this forum.
I dont know why this doesn't have more up votes!!! This is such a simple fix, I hope someone at MS sees this and fixes it, there's no benifit to having this function buried in a submenu! It should be more obvious that a file is checked out to you, its easy to forget to check a file back in after editing.
