Disable links in modern library
Allow the removal of Link from New menu in modern libraries.

Same for us, it is disorienting our customers.
I second that, Give me the option to hide it atleast. It's confusing my users!!!!!!!!!!
Get it together Microsoft!
It would be great value if we can enable/disable the "Link" option from the menu. The business users have been behind me to do away with this option.
The 'Link' created via this menu option isn't that type of link, that is supported by highlighted content web part: They can't be filtered out and don't work properly when clicking on it.
Why is the standard behaviour repealed in this way? Let the list owner decide which menu items are shown or not and what type of content should be put into the library. If I want to enable links in a library I add the link content type...

It's a great option to have but would be best as an OPTION. I use it often in some libraries, but I don't want it as an option when I'm using custom content types on a list that I want to be the ONLY options.

'Link' is not something we use always in the SharePoint document library.
Its required to have the capability of switch on and off.
