Better Searching in Recycle Bin
a better search for searching through the recycle bin. A date range feature would be nice.

I soooo wish they'd allow you to search for keywords rather than having to scroll and scroll and scroll and scroll and scroll....... and still scrolling, surprised this is taking so long to rectify

Consider a user delete 5000 items in a folder. How can I go in the recycle and filter "data" "path" "user that deleted"? It's essential and is also unavailable in powershell!!

It would be great if we can search items in the Recycle bin if it has a huge amount of deleted items.

It's an essential improvement. The recycle bin today is a joke, we can't do anything there. Actually, if you are dealing with a lot of files, you'd better forget it, will never find them.

this is very much required, I have thousands of documents to restore but with no advanced search function it is very difficult to filter these, on top of that you can only select up to 200 documents as the selection is lost when you goto the next page.
Filter by date, user, site, document type would make restoration much easier. If we could select more docuyments on the page this would also make restore easier.

Even some basic filtering would be nice. Doesn't have to be awesome from the get go. The sort function is a joke when you're dealing with thousands of files.

It is crazy that no improvements have been made to the recycle bin yet. Please allow not only searching but how about sticky headers, basic sort on all columns, and filtering.

Text search in the recycle bin would be perfect.
Please also enable grouping by original location (site, library, folder), person who deleted and time deleted (day/week/month) -

The recycle bin is not very useful in the way you cannot search it.
My suggestion is to either, load all immediately so that would enable users to find files by browsers Text search,
OR to provide a filter and/or search option for Recycle bins specifically. -

allow me to search by date/time/person who deleted the content. It is ridiculous to scroll and scroll through 1000s of files trying to find what I want to restore. This is a colossal waste of time!!

We need a sophisticated search feature for Recycle Bin built into the SharePoint interface so that end users with high level access can easily recover accidentally deleted items. For large organizations, this is crucial.

There is a need for better functionality of the Recycle Bin. We need to be able to sort and filter to specific users, time periods, folders, file types, and search with wildcard criteria.
