Backed-up site, library restores
Consider providing backup services for containers smaller than collections (i.e., sites, lists, libraries) AND restore services to locations other than the source location (or example, to another collection or tenancy). One of our users recently deleted a column of data that impacted over 1,000 list items. Microsoft's only option was to restore the entire (300GB) collection several days later where identical items would have been duplicated with nearly identical items (i.e, file.docx would not have been deleted/overwritten, but duplicated with a new filename, file_1.docx). This would have required hundreds of hours carefully deleting identical items/files of slightly different names, and ultimately wasn't worth the effort. Seems like restoring the collection to a separate, new location would have been the perfect solution for us (we could have grabbed the lost column data and added it to the items that had lost it).
