Save List or Document Library as Template
SharePoint Online allows an admin to customize the columns (metadata) of a list or document library view. SPO formerly, I think, allowed a customized view to be saved as a list (or document library) template. Now, though, there is no way to do that, confirmed as of this writing with MSFT support. So if an organization, like mine, needs the same customization on every single list, we have to customize every list when we create it. It would be more useful, and less prone to error, if an admin could generate a new list from a template.

This appears to be the same idea as https://sharepoint.uservoice.com/forums/329214-sites-and-collaboration/suggestions/33056857-allow-saving-modern-site-list-as-template-for-o36
(Sorry Joe, I did not mean to flag as inappropriate and now I can’t undo it.) -

Yes this feature has been disabled on the Modern sites. Can we please bring this feature back, especially for Teams site. Thanks.
