Accessibility checker for content
When writing content / building a new page / ... it would be great if there was an automated accessibility checker that could check for alt tags in pictures, heading structure, contrast and other related issues.
This way Sharepoint could prevent accessibility issues. Extra important considering that also intranets will have to be compliant to accessibility laws in the EU (Web Accessibility Directive).

The inclusion of an accessibility checker in the standard Office products has meant that we are producing more accessible documents and content for our users. Surely it makes sense to have this in SharePoint too? The basics are already there :)

In collaborative platforms like SharePoint, contributors might unknowingly exclude colleges with disabilities. Strengthening built-in accessibility and making it known when manual assessments are necessary might increase the impact and utility of the platform.
