Traverse/View Shared Subfolders
When a user shares a subfolder to a user there is no way for the user to traverse the library to get to this subfolder.
E.g.
Doc Library > Folder 1 : No Permissions
Doc Library > Folder 1 > Subfolder 2 : Edit Permission
- There is no way to get to Subfolder 2 unless directly by URL/Syncing.
2 Options:
1. In the Modern Document Library a 'Shared Files and Folders' view which just lists these items.
- A way to click through the root library to the subfolder would be even better!

The lack of this behavior is extremely confusing to my less tech inclined users. It's also very annoying to everyone else.

The permissions are already present on the parent folders just SPO is ignoring them when rendering the page.
i.e. Under Permissions > Check Permissions enter a user to check and you will see the "Limited Access" groups present on each of the parent folders.
This used to work in previous versions of SPO. It's been broken in the last 12-18 months.

I do not understand why this isn't a thing.
If I give permission to User 1 for only FolderA/Folder1/DocA they should be able to traverse FolderA/Folder1 without issue.
Links are not conducive to a file/folder based workflow and forcing users to keep a tab of all shared links is ridiculous.
Why not just allow "Limited Access" the ability to traverse containing folders via restricted read only??
