Kick or Remove Users that have a SP document Open
It would be nice if the owner of a document could ‘kick/remove’ users in the document and stop sharing for a period if needed. This would be useful if a guest user leaves a document open on their computer and is no longer active/editing. Also, it can be useful if you want to be the only one in the document for a short period of time for thick client compatibility issues etc. Auto-save should essentially capture anything the guest user updated before they are kicked out and the document is temporarily removed from sharing.

I'm actually surprised this isn't already an option as we had this ability in SharePoint on-prem. We have a situation where a Senior Leader is showing as editing a document, but they are not in the document. Trying to contact this Senior Leader to troubleshoot and figure out how to get them out of the document is not feasible. We need to be able to kick users out of a document!
