hide/remove the “Next steps” button available on the home page of the communication sites
Can you please provide an option to hide the next steps button on the communication site home page.

The users keep asking why the button is there and its not for them to use. It should given base on the permission level.
It is very inconvenient not to have turn off for this feature. This is should be obvious and end users don't need it.
I've done all the things in that list. It should go away. Or it should go away after the first N days. Or, of course, ideally it shouldn't even be there at all.

It shows even for guests who have no access to the promoted links. Proof of poor implementation by Microsoft. Provide switch to turn of or disable it all together!
This should be something with the possibility to disable at tenant or site level like MS did for the social bar on bottom of modern pages.
This is just a marketing ploy, please remove it or give option to remove, for that matter all options need to be on one page or section with simple check box so we can decide which features to enable / disable

That button is annoying. I see it and keep thinking there is something I need to do. I click it, then remember it is just an annoying piece of litter on my site that cannot be picked up and discarded. Argh!
