Footer of the Hub site to propagate to all associated sites like the Hub menu
The footer of a Hub Site should be propagated along with the Hub menu and the look and feel to all the associated sites.

we tried using a custom SPFx footer to solve this problem, however found that it was not appropriate as it displays fixed at the bottom of the page and not in the scrollable section.
We used the OOTB footer and ended up writing powershell to replicate the footer across all sites in the hub as a stop gap.
Having a 'Hub footer' would be awesome which behaves the same as the Hub navigation. The key is the footer needs to be at the bottom of the scrollable section.

Unbelievable how dumb this is. What's the point of the hub if not for something like this. To make matters worse it appears to work for the first site that joins the hub, but none after that. How can this not be a bug? There's no logic for a design like this.

I'm having a bizarre issue with footers. I set up the footer on the hub site. If I edit the footer on a hub-connected site, the changes propagate back to the hub site. Eventually, I get double links on all the footers. It's maddening.

Footer and reusable quick links should be a standard across hubs and associated sites. I don't see this on the road map although ignite had some promising expandable footer updates

Guys, I don't want to lose my composure here, but are you kidding me? I would be really happy if the footer would be controlled via the hub site.

I can't believe this isn't provided already.

I agree with this, I have a new intranet with 55 sites where I now have to populate each footer with many links! Brutal, and if we decide to change anything I need to make the changes in 55 spots.
