Freeze column headings for Quick Edit Mode
Would love to see the ability to freeze column headers at the top of the page when a user scrolls through a long list in the Quick Edit Mode.

Hi, Can someone confirm if this feature is now available in SharePoint?

Agreed. This is causing a lot of issues with our company. It makes using the edit mode almost useless because we have to scroll back up to remember what column we are in. I export to excel to view, but then need to go back to the sharepoint list to make any edits. It is too clunky. We might have to continue using excel spreadsheets just because of how 'clunky' this operation is to perform.

Still waiting for this fix. My team is going back to Excel due to this issue.

Looks like this has been implemented but it is causing major issues in the performance of my InfoPath libraries. Now we are having issues with changes in Quick Edit mode not saving.

This is massively preventing my organization from taking SharePoint lists in to use. We are stuck in Excel spreadsheets as users find updating in SharePoint way too cumbersome.

This is something that we would like to see as well, We have a list built with rows we have our External offices fill in, the data changes per input cycle so we use views to capture the input. Because of all the columns we have to support the various views the Edit form is useless for us and staff use datasheet view to edit the default view for that cycle. The first few people love the solution as they see all the Column headers. The rest hate it as they need to scroll up, read the column, fill it in and continue to be able to update the list.
Please add Frozen Columns in DataSheet View.

This is such a low hanging fruit, specially it's already frozen in non quick edit mode. It's also a basic usability thing that's needed to use any list more than 10 items long.

This is a direct ask from our business. There are so many columns and data types used and we need to see what we are entering.

This would be a huge help. I'm using lists extensively and seems to be a RC of some data quality issues: users can't tell which column they are in!

I would love to see this feature. When you have many columns and multiple rows using quick edit is useless when you can't see what column you are editing. It's unfortunate because quick edit is a great feature.

Very important feature, I just can't get my head around how they implement it for normal view, but not for quick edit view, where you actually need it.

Sticky headers on the Quick edit mode for sharepoint list must be available as soon as possible. You do it for modern experience in march 2019...

Agreed, BPP. Our organization is currently migrating to modern SharePoint, and this is a huge issue.

This feature is needed more in Quick Edit mode than in any other view. Please consider this.

Since our clerical staff always use Quick Edit mode and also deal with a long list of data, it's difficult for them to locate the specified field for editing now.

Any update on the status yet?

We SO need this feature! To me it's even more important than freezing headers in View mode.
