Open PDF files in Microsoft Word client application
Many people want to open PDF files in Adobe client application (uservoice created since 15. february 2016), but would it be possible to open in Microsoft Word client application instead?
Word already support open a PDF file without converting it to a Word document, and open the file directly wherever it's stored (for example, double-click the PDF file in your Documents folder).
We can even edit the PDF file using Word (Word makes a copy of the PDF, converting it to a Word document and attempting to match layout of the original PDF. You always have the original PDF file, in case you don't want to keep the version that Word converts.) - instead of buying Adobe Acrobat DC (Pro) license.
This would be a great alternative if we could open PDF files, stored in document library, using Word client application, instead of Adobe client application.
