Upload document revision - Retain link
Please enable a feature to upload a new revision / replace a document in a SharePoint / OneDrive library to a new version without losing existing links to it.
I am streamlining the companies document library, currently we have multiple versions of the same document uploaded to various websites and in a library for internal use. I wish to create one true source to reduce maintenance errors when applying updates. I wish to use a cloud service to host the library, have it accessible through a mobile app and use links to the documents on ours and 3rd party websites.
At current if I upload a revised version of a document to SharePoint / OneDrive there is no way to retain links that have been shared. Google Drive have a feature to allow "Manage Versions > Upload New Version" which keeps the links active. This feature is imperative to the operations of a companies document library (sales brochures, technical documents) that will be shared via the sales team and web links.

I found that saving over the file creates a revision so when placing a revised document into my folder I have to ensure the names match perfectly and click replace existing document, this now achieves what I wanted.
I believe the UX design could be improved to provide a feature like described of Google's, this would certainly make it a little more intuitive.
