Idea to improve the SharePoint news digest tool
I've been using SharePoint to create a weekly employee newsletter for a couple months now., I create each newsletter post as a separate news item. Some of these news items I copy from existing news items but change the headlines/content ( to use the same format). Others of these news items I create from scratch. This part is all going very smoothly. The PROBLEM: When I click on the "create digest" link, I go through the steps -- 1. I choose the news posts I want to include in the digest, hit "Next". 2. I drag the news posts into the desired order. 3. I add the emails I want to send it to. 4. Hit send. When the digest is received in the email inbox, the news posts are out of order -- not in the order I placed them before sending. It's a bit infuriating. I can't find how to fix this by googling and also stumped the Microsoft expert I asked in the Microsoft Tech Community blog. Would anyone have any idea why it's happening? If I'm doing something wrong, please advise. If I'm not doing anything wrong, my idea is to fix this news digest tool to ensure the order of the news posts remains the same in the emailed digest. Suggestions welcome. Thank you!
