2roles: authors&viewers. Publish the maj.version2.0, viewers can see it. Publish the min.vers.2.1 only authors can see it. Viewers see only
Dear SharePoint-Team, it would be great, if we could improve the versioning function of SharePoint. There are two roles of interest: authors & viewers. If I publish the major version 2.0, the viewers can see it. If I publish the minor version 2.1 only authors can see this minor version 2.1. The viewers will see only the major versions, in our example 2.0. If I countermand the major version 2.0, the authors will see the latest minor version and the viewers will see no document any more at all. Could you change the settings and by countermanding the latest major version 2.0, enable the users to see the latest major version (in example above 1.0). It is very important for maintaining our documents. We love the using SharePoint but missing this versioning feature which was very helpful in the “old” SharePoint 2010. Thank you and kind regards, Zarina
