Enable ability to load colours, textures and materials into 3D Models
For SharePoint Spaces (and other areas of the Microsoft 365 Stack) allow colours, materials and textures of 3D objects to be loaded into the previewing tool.

SharePoint spaces does support textures and materials today, but with many formats (FBX, OBJ) they will not be displayed. If you export your models as GLB or GLTF they should reliably display with materials/textures. We recognize a need to expand this support to other model types moving forward, but I wanted to make sure you know this is possible today with the right workflow.

SharePoint Spaces has huge potential that can massively benefiting our business through future digital learning spaces, but without the ability to upload models with their materials it really limits its use. In our case a white model can’t be used for potential training and learning opportunities. If this feature could be added it would offer a complete solution we've been looking for.
